How to get 5 000 entries and create a database using a simple social media strategy 

Cruises International needed to appeal to new markets and bolster brand awareness in a big way.
Here’s what we did to boost social media engagement and get everyone excited about cruising: 

  • We came up with a social media campaign that married luxury luggage and cruising with our #What’sInTheBag competition. 
  • Winners received luggage, filled with skincare and beauty products, to inspire them to pack their bags for their next cruise. 
  • The competition saw massive engagement, as in order to enter, people had to like, follow, comment, and share the posts. 
  • Our campaign received well over 5 000 entries across social platforms and we totaled an ad reach of 50 000 in just three months.
