Hewlett Packard Enterprizes (HPE) needed a legitimate database of IT business executives. To achieve this, we came up with a strategic marketing campaign through a vodcast with a leading South African journalist, and a competition IT buffs couldn’t resist.
To achieve HPE’s goal of a highly specified database, we crafted a vodcast series on the HPE website, hosted by Uckie Anastasiou. He interviewed opinion leaders in IT – speaking specifically to the target market.
We built HPE’s desired database by getting their target market to fill out a form through a competition. The prize? The chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Silicon Valley!
The marketing strategy behind this was creating content and a competition that would appeal hugely to the target demographic. What IT guy would pass up the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the homeland?
With this, we surpassed the client’s objective with killer results. Due to the success of the first phase of the campaign, the client requested to keep the momentum going, and mobilise phase two. The results? Over 13 million total impressions!
Making a massive impression :
– Part 1: 2 million impressions attained in 6 weeks
– Part 2: 11.1 million impressions attained in 6 weeks
